Terms of Service

These terms apply to Loan Tracker, an add-on for Google Sheets made by TinyOrbit Apps ("we", "us"). By installing or using the add-on you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What Loan Tracker is

Loan Tracker is a record-keeping tool. It sets up sheets in your spreadsheet where you can record money you lend to and borrow from people, and it calculates balances and statements from what you enter.

It is not a bank, lender, payment service, or financial, legal or tax adviser. It does not move money, collect payments or enforce any agreement. Balances it shows are only as accurate as the entries you make.

2. Your account and Google's terms

You need a Google account to use the add-on. Your use of Google Sheets is also governed by Google's Terms of Service. We are not responsible for Google's services, including their availability.

3. Your data and your responsibilities

• Your spreadsheet and everything in it belong to you. How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, and for checking balances before relying on them.
• If you record details about other people, you are responsible for doing so lawfully and for who you share the spreadsheet with.
• Keep your own backups. Google Sheets' version history (File → Version history) can help, but we cannot recover data for you.
• Do not use the add-on for anything unlawful, or to harass or harm anyone.

4. Price

Loan Tracker is currently free. If we ever introduce paid features, we will say so clearly before you are charged, and these terms will be updated.

5. Changes to the add-on

We may update, change or stop offering the add-on at any time. If we stop offering it, your existing spreadsheet and its data stay in your Google account. The sheets and formulas keep working, but menus, the sidebar and automatic saving may stop.

6. No warranty

The add-on is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, TinyOrbit Apps is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of money, data, or profit, or any dispute between you and another person, arising from your use of the add-on. Our total liability for any claim relating to the add-on is limited to the amount you paid us for it, which is zero while it is free.

8. Ending use

You can stop using the add-on at any time by uninstalling it (Extensions → Add-ons → Manage add-ons). We may stop you from using it if you break these terms.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page when we do. If you keep using the add-on after a change, you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. This does not take away any rights you have under the consumer laws of the country where you live.
